I have a deep love of nature and marvel at the new discoveries that I make every time I pick up a camera. Through my lens I hope to share what I see with others and bring awareness as to the importance of preservation of our wildlife and their habitats. Due to over development, natural habitats are disappearing at a rapidly increasing rate. Conservation is key, and as such our nature preserves and national parks are extremely vital and need our support. Great shot Julie. Love watching the Sandhills. They are soooooo loud. I read about a migratory place in Indiana a couple of hours from me where there are thousands of them during October through mid December. Hoping I'll be able to find a time to check it out later this year.

Thank you Joni, I love watching them as well. They can be quite vocal. We actually have a pair in my neighborhood and they come through my yard occasionally. You always hear them before you see them! I hope u get a chance to see them. 😊
