So pleased to see that this image was chosen to be featured in Shore Birds of Florida group on FAA. I am very partial to our Florida birds and the Great White Heron never disappoints with their spectacular breeding plumage each spring. Even more reason to stop polluting the waters with plastic and trash. Occasionally you will find plastic wrapped around turtles, birds and other wildlife often resulting in death or disfigurement. Florida has many nature preserves that work to establish an ecosystem for all wildlife. This is a wonderful way to provide a safe location for people to enjoy and learn about the amazing wildlife Florida has to offer
I have a deep love of nature and marvel at the new discoveries that I make every time I pick up a camera. Through my lens I hope to share what I see with others and bring awareness as to the importance of preservation of our wildlife and their habitats. Due to over development, natural habitats are disappearing at a rapidly increasing rate. Conservation is key, and as such our nature preserves and national parks are extremely vital and need our support.
