About Julie Adair
I have a deep love of nature and marvel at the new discoveries that I make every time I pick up a camera. Through my lens I hope to share what I see with others and bring awareness as to the importance of preservation of our wildlife and their habitats. Due to over development, natural habitats are disappearing at a rapidly increasing rate. Conservation is key, and as such our nature preserves and national parks are extremely vital and need our support. Please do enoy looking at any of the images you see here or you can click on the gallery tab to see entire collections. I hope that seeing my images will inspire you to visit some parks or preserves and experience the joy that I find there. Thank you for visiting. The...

I appreciate a photographer that will take on the mid day lighting... quite a challenge. :-) You mastered it nicely, with no blown out colors and highlights. That tells me you have nice control over your camera and settings. A sign of a seasoned photographer. I like that. :-) Awesome flower image with some very impressive colors Julie. :-) FV
Julie Adair replied:
Thank you very much Nick. I appreciate that greatly. (: I find that due to time constraints I generally get stuck so to speak with mid day shooting. So I have learned to improvise! Sometimes no matter what you try you just get the blowouts, but honestly I get that with the so called golden hours as well. I have learned it is all about the angle. I find myself on the ground more often than not!! LOL
