Description
The Tri Color Herons eggs have hatched. A few of the nests had their eggs stolen either Raccoons or Iguanas. This proud mother has three babies across the marsh there are several other nests that are a bit further along and already have fledglings that are up and walking around in the tree branches. Before long they will be attempting to fly.

Thanks Nick, I am enjoying capturing these moments as I have watched the pairing up, nesting, and egg laying of these birds. Now I am rewarded with observing the chicks growing and learning to walk/fly. Life is good! :)
