I was watching visitors to the zoo feed the Giraffe and I noticed this tiny little hand. I wanted to capture the magic and innocence of the moment without showing too much. Hopefully the hands on feeding experience is teaching children the importance of taking care of wildlife that is dependent on us.
I have a deep love of nature and marvel at the new discoveries that I make every time I pick up a camera. Through my lens I hope to share what I see with others and bring awareness as to the importance of preservation of our wildlife and their habitats. Due to over development, natural habitats are disappearing at a rapidly increasing rate. Conservation is key, and as such our nature preserves and national parks are extremely vital and need our support.
