The Hand That Feeds metal print by Julie Adair. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I was watching visitors to the zoo feed the Giraffe and I noticed this tiny little hand. I wanted to capture the magic and innocence of the moment without showing too much. Hopefully the hands on feeding experience is teaching children the importance of taking care of wildlife that is dependent on us.
